Gennadiy, the husband (54), Anna, the wife (44), their elder son Roman (25), younger son Yegor (15), and grandmother Svitlana (66) make up this large family. On February 24th, the family, upon hearing the first shelling, sought refuge in the cellar, enduring back-and-forth runs for two months. The extended periods spent in the cellar caused health issues for the entire family, exacerbated by the scarcity of food aid due to the intensity of shelling. Faced with such conditions, the family decided to leave when a rocket landed in their yard, shattering all windows and rendering their home uninhabitable. They relocated to Solonytsivka and found shelter in a summer cottage, generously provided by kind-hearted individuals. However, due to limited space, the family faces significant challenges in making a living there for the second year. Gennadiy, working in auto repair, and his sons assisted the military in vehicle maintenance while in the village. Currently, they dream of returning home.
