My name is Dasha, I am fourteen years old, I live in the city of Chernihiv in the country of Ukraine. I love my hometown very much, despite the fact that it is small. I live with my mother, sister and cat Vasilisa. After the occupation, I began to sleep poorly, became frightened by loud noises and became more attentive. After all this, it’s hard for me to look at people who have lost loved ones or a home. I try to distract myself from this by roller skating and playing volleyball with my friends from school. I study at Voznesenskaya Gymnasium. In the future I would like to become a model or an interior designer. I’m not entirely sure about the model, but looking at the beautiful girls walking down the catwalk, I suddenly have a desire to be one of them. Of course, I want to be a model more than an interior designer. It seems to me that if I fly to America I can make my dream come true.

I have several friends with whom I communicate well, two from school and several outside of school. I love them very much and also appreciate them and I hope that this is mutual. It will be difficult for me to part with them for such a time, but I think that we will be able to communicate with them anyway. I think that I can find a common language with any person, it just takes a little time to get to know him better.

For me, friendship is something unusual and something mysterious.
This trip is a great opportunity to find new acquaintances not only in Ukraine. Thank you very much for paying attention to us.
