Ivan Tomenko 15, male from Donetsk

I was born in the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, studied at a lyceum, and had many friends. My mom and I lived in a wonderful, cozy apartment, and I dreamed about how my life would change after the 9th grade. I wanted to study at a medical college and become a dentist in the future. But the war changed everything. We were forced to flee from the war and ended up in the Kyiv region. My mom and I decided that I should continue my education at the Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum so that I could protect my family in the future. However, I still dream of becoming a dentist, diligently preparing in relevant subjects, and I dream of visiting America.
