The Bogdanov Family
The Holley family is asking for your help to support the Bogdanov family — a family of eight working to rebuild after unimaginable hardship.
Olexandr (32) and Yulia (34) are raising four children: Denys (15), Karolina (7), twins Matviy and Daniyil (2.5), along with Yulia’s parents, Iryna (65) and Gennady (65).
When the war began, shelling surrounded their home. They hid in freezing conditions and walked 11 kilometers under fire just to find food. The family later spent 3.5 months living in the Kharkiv metro for safety.
After displacement and loss, Yulia gave birth to twin boys. Soon after, she suffered a severe head injury in a car accident and was in a coma for 15 days. Olexandr worked to care for four children while covering mounting medical expenses.
Today, the Bogdanov family does not own a home. They are renting with very limited income and almost no savings. The grandparents’ small apartment has no running water. They are doing everything they can to move forward — but they need support.
