Alina Nazarenko 15, female from Chernihiv

Hello dear friend,

My name is Alina, I’m fifteen years old. I live in the village of Novoselivka which is in the suburb of Chernihiv, the regional centre. My family is not very big. There are five of us in the family-my mom and dad, my grandparents and me. I am a pupil of the ninth form of secondary school .My favourite subject at school is English. I am a diligent pupil and I like learning new things. I am a well-bred and polite girl. I am a friendly and sociable person. I have many friends. I am responsible so you can trust me, what you want me to do. Due to the Russian invasion our house has been fully destroyed. Our domestic animals were killed. Nowadays my father is in the Ukrainian army. He defends our country Ukraine.

I have always wanted to visit America, to meet its friendly people and to get to know its traditions. Hope my dreams come true.
