No Place Like Home

Vladislav and Tatiana Kornienko  and their dogs Larsi and Rika currently live in a garage near their house.

Before the war, this family was in the process of adopting 2 children. They completed all the Documents and completed courses for foster parents. When the war started, all adoption plans were ruined because their house was bombed. They were told that until they had a place to live, they could not take the children.

They did not despair and made the garage livable. They invited the adoption agency, but agency turned down the adoption because, despite the fact that Kornienkos tried very hard to create a home, a garage is not a house.

The family prays that they will have at least a small house with 2 rooms so that they will finally be given children.

Before the war, the family ran a business organizing ATV rides.  Of course, the war put an end to that.  But the Kornienkos are hopeful  that after the victory people will start skating again.
