No Place Like Home

We are the Krivenko family. Mikial and I lost our daughter over a year ago. She is the mother of our two grandchildren. We are helping my 18-year old granddaughter raise her 8-month old baby while her brother serves in a civilian defense unit.

In the bombing, we lost our house where we all lived together. Now, we stay in a small cottage that does not have water or heat. My granddaughter and her baby live 15 kilometers away because they have access to a bathroom and warm water for the baby.

Not only have we lost our daughter, but we have lost our home and our way to keep our family together. We must help raise our great-grandchild because our granddaughter must work. Please help us bring our family together this winter so that we can find peace and joy in our lives again.
