To stay on their land while they rebuild their lives

Family Story

Anatoli and Olena lived together with their son and his wife. On March 7, the family miraculously managed to escape from Andriivka. The village had already been occupied. They left through the forest and headed to Zakarpattia. They had nowhere else to go, so they joined a convoy of evacuating vehicles and went to Zakarpattia with them. In April, Andriivka was liberated. Mobile communication was restored, and a relative called Olena to inform her that their house was no longer there. At the end of April, the family returned to Andriivka. Anatoli and Olena started living with acquaintances in their old house, which lacked water and gas. The conditions were terrible. The current owners of the house do not live there because it is too old and unsuitable for normal living. Their son and his wife work on a rotational basis, spending two weeks working and living at their job site, and then two weeks in Kyiv with their son. The family is in desperate need of a home.
