Kononenko Vasil (64) and Irina (40) are the Kononenko Family.
On February 24, the father and daughter encountered war in their native village. They heard explosions at 5 in the morning and realized that the war had begun. When the daughter sought refuge in the cellar, the father, due to his health condition, could not join her in the dampness. After 4 months, the family realized they had to leave.
They moved to the village of Dobrynke to stay with friends. They lived there for half a year. Life was tough because there was no water or electricity. The father had 3 tractors and 2 cars; he worked the land to make a living. Currently, only the daughter is working, and the family’s situation is very difficult.
