Hi! My name is Kristina, I am sixteen and I am from Ukraine.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been told that I am a friendly, open and responsible person who loves to learn new things and meet new people. I live with my parents and sister – we are very close and support each other no matter what. One of the important parts of my story is that our lives changed a lot in 2022, when the war in Ukraine began. At first it was scary and confusing, but it also taught me how strong people can be. My family and I stayed together, helped others when we could, and tried to keep learning and dreaming no matter what.

My dream is to become a person who can make a positive impact on the world, maybe through education or art. I believe that living in a new country and becoming part of a new family will help me grow and become more independent and open.
