Svitlana Kulibaba
Svitlana, 50 years old, experienced the first shelling and the sight of enemy vehicles on February 24. Choosing not to leave, she sought refuge in a cellar, unable to communicate or let anyone know she was alive. In August, her house went up in flames, with gas cylinders exploding, preventing her from escaping. After a day, when the fire subsided, all that remained was ashes.
Currently residing with her sister in their hometown, Svitlana is attempting to find work in the city but faces challenges in rebuilding her home. The destruction and the fire left her temporarily displaced, struggling to resume a sense of normalcy.
