You Provided Food for Thousands of People in Kharkiv

John and Sydney, thanks to your financial assistance, our volunteers were able to provide hot meals to approximately 1,000 people in Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine,  on a daily basis.  Each person would thank you if they could.

Kharkiv is the most bombed city in Ukraine. Entire neighborhoods of apartment buildings have been destroyed. Homes have been completely demolished. People continue to live in the buildings that remain standing, many of which do not have doors or windows. Severe damage to the infrastructure has left parts of the city without gas or water.

As a result of your generous donation, people have not only been able to eat, but they also fill containers to bring food and water back to those who are physically unable to come pick it up, themselves. More importantly, John and Sydney, your financial assistance has given people the feeling that they matter. Thank you so much!

$1,000 per month provides 1,000 2 hot meals per person per day

Our Goal: $60,000 for 6 months

Your Generosity Helped to Render Relief to Many Wounded, by Providing the Chernihiv Military Hospital With a Portable X-Ray Machine

We would like to thank you for your donation in acquiring an important piece of medical equipment, a portable X-ray machine. After it was purchased, it was delivered to the Chernihiv Military Hospital. As you know, this machine makes it possible to take X-rays quickly, without jostling the patient, which can greatly aggravate the patient’s condition. As a result of its mobility, X-rays can even be taken in the ER, at check-in or on the operating table.

John and Sydney, you stepped up to help when we didn’t know where the funds would come from.  The doctors were calling, asking for this x-ray machine and you helped us deliver it. Doctors can now save valuable time and quickly provide assistance to the wounded.

Numerous People in Kharkiv Owe Their Lives to You as a Result of The Vacuum-Assisted Wound Closure Devices Obtained With Your Donation!

Thanks to your donation, we have purchased vacuum-assisted wound closure devices, as well as needed disposable parts, for hospital in Kharkiv where wounded fighters and civilians are treated. Having seen soldiers who did lose a limb because of infection, this means so much to us.

These devices treat burns and severe injuries. They stop infection, reduce the risk of amputation, and save lives. In a country that is at war, thousands of vacuum-assisted wound closure devices are needed but there are not enough. The device also needs costly disposable parts, such as gauze dressings, adhesive film, and drainage tubes.

John and Sydney, thank you again.

$3,400 saves limbs from amputation

Goal: $450,000 for Negative Pressure Wound Care Therapy Units for 3,000 people

You Protected Those Who Protect Us

John and Sydney, thanks to your financial assistance, we were able to purchase personal protective equipment for the military and send it to the frontlines. Bulletproof vests, first aid kits, uniforms, shoes, tactical headphones and goggles, and much, much more—these are the things that really save the lives of our soldiers. Your help is invaluable!

The soldiers that you met in Ukraine still talk of your generosity.

Your Charitable Contributions Helped Deliver Food, Medicine & Hygiene Products to Those Most Affected by the War

With the money you donated, we purchased food, medicine, and hygiene products. Our drivers deliver these items to people who cannot come to our distribution centers due to poor health (mostly disabled and elderly people), or because they have no one to care for their children.

It’s people like you who have helped us support the large database of people who are alone or without relatives to help. They don’t know what to fear most: shelling and bombs or starvation and death. Some are bedridden, and some are so weak they struggle to walk short distances.  These people live in small villages under continuous shelling. They remain there because they don’t have anywhere to go, or because they don’t have the financial means or physical capabilities to leave. They live in makeshift bomb shelters in basements.

John and Sydney, for these people, your gift has meant the gift of life for another month.

$360 provides food and medicine for a person for 6 months

Your Donation Assured we could Purchase -30°C Sleeping Bags

John and Sydney, from the warmth of your hearts, you reached out to help the people of Ukraine prepare for the brutal winter they will face.  As the Russian assault on heating and electric stations continues, Ukrainians face a great unknown—how they will survive. Multi-story buildings with bombed out windows won’t be any match for the cold.  Private homes without electricity will be dark.

Thanks to you and the incredible team at Recreation Outlet, we were able to purchase -30°C sleeping bag to keep people alive. These sleeping bags were manufactured for us allowing us to provide a sleeping bag that would retail for $150 for an incredible value of $40.  These sleeping bags have the lowest cold rating available.

These bags will keep people from dying from the elements.  This is the most we can do and the least we can do.

$40 provides a sleeping bag (market value $150)

Our Goal: $600,000 for 15,000 sleeping bags
