Family Story
Vasily lived with his mother Olena in their house. They left Korolivka on March 7, as it became unbearable to stay in the cellar any longer. The family did not have their own car. On March 7, a family friend transported them to the Ternopil region. Two days prior, a bomb struck their house, reducing it to rubble. The family learned about the destruction while taking shelter in their sister’s cellar. The house is beyond repair. They returned from the Ternopil region in May and moved in with their sister, as they had nowhere else to go. The family’s dream is to return to their land.
