The Obelencev Family
Thank You, David and Jonnie Niemand
Because of your generosity, Svetlana (31), Maksym (33), and their daughter Eva (6) are already living in the home you donated.
After fleeing Russkaya Lozova on April 29, 2022, they later learned their house had been destroyed on June 26. They lived in a school, then with acquaintances, moving wherever they could. Maksym works as a gas station service mechanic. Svetlana stays home because schools are closed and Eva, now entering first grade, attends online.
For years, everything was temporary.
Your gift changed that.
Instead of renting and worrying about what comes next, this family now has stability — a safe place for Eva to learn, for Maksym to return to after work, and for Svetlana to care for her child without fear of losing their shelter.
Your donated home is not just a building.
It is security, dignity, and a fresh start.
Thank you.
