RESTORE hope and a home

for the Ivasyuk Family

The Ivasyuk Family

The Ivasyuk lived in their house since 1976.  “Our home was the dearest and the best for us because we invested our own hands and all our strength into it. A terrible illness struck, and in 2019, my husband passed away. For me, 2020 was dreadful; wherever I look, I see my husband’s hands in our work. When this horrible war started in 2022, we never thought we were leaving our beloved home for so long. But it turned out that I left Irpin with my grandchildren for 5 months. Then we returned to nothing.”

Although we cannot RESTORE the home that was so lovingly build by hand, we can help the Ivasyuk family RETURN to their land and begin to heal.

Three generations of women together will change their future. Lyudmyla Hryhorivna Ivasyuk is 68 and retired from working as a surgical nurse at the Irpin Central Hospital. Olena Mykolaivna Sapronova is 46. She is Lyudmyla’s daughter and works in a dental clinic. Her daughter Kateryna Andriivna Sapronova, 21, also lived with her mother and grandmother before their house was destroyed.

With your help, these courageous women can RETURN to their land, plant their gardens, enjoy dinner at the same table, start the healing journey and RESTORE their lives.
