Building Homes
Spend half of your day, assisting local builders in clearing and preparing lots where homes were destroyed. Then help build the home onsite. You will see the home from clearing to completion including furnishing the home and preparing it to be gifted.
Gifting Houses and Returning Hope to Families
A life-changing experience, you will participate in gifting the home that you built. You will laugh and cry with the family receiving the home. They will tell you their story and how they lost their home. You will never be the same after you feel this selfless act of giving your time and talents to someone you have never met until you give them this incredible gift.
Leading Summer Program for Children
Lead classes for children of a village that was destroyed in the early days of the war. Camp gives children who have suffered tragedy time to just be kids. Interacting with friends from another country shows them that their suffering is recognized and validated. Camp structure and classes will be based on the strengths that you have. If you play the piano, you can teach. If you like to cook, you can make lunch. If you love frisbee, let’s play
Experiencing History
Visit war locations with us like Hostomel Airport, Bucha, and Borodyanka to feel what Ukrainians are going through. Help us serve people in need together, visit those who received homes, and much more.
Seeing the Beauty
As a part of Europe, Ukraine shares the same beauty as countries like Poland, Austria, Hungary, and even Scandanavia. We will visit historic locations including castles, churches, cities and the countryside.
Fundraising Your Tuition
In six weeks, teens ages 13-17, from Idaho raised a total of $60,000 to travel and build homes. An NHS group raised $23,000 in under a month to feed people in Ukraine. If a 13-year old can do it, so can you!
