Arina 15, female from Kharkiv

Hello, my name is Arina. I live in the Kharkiv region in the village of Slatino, a small village located 20 km from the border with Russia. I am 15 years old. I study in the 10th grade at the Dergachevsky Lyceum number 3.

Since I was 5 years old, I have been professionally engaged in vocals and for 7 years I studied piano at a music school. I participated in many creative competitions and concerts. Also, a significant part of my life was spent in modeling school NikaModels, and I also like to play volleyball.

My dad works as a police officer and my mom owns a hardware store. My family and I, like most Ukrainians, were caught up in the war at home on February 24, and since then our lives have changed completely. As a result of the military actions, most schools throughout Ukraine are closed or switched to distance learning. At the moment, I have been studying remotely for two years and I can confirm for sure, the level of education in the country has decreased.

I am an open and versatile person and always strive for new acquaintances and learning something new and interesting.
