Hi, my name is Svitlana. I’m 15 years old, and I live in Kyiv, the city where I was also born. It’s a place full of history, energy, and strength — especially now. My family means the world to me: my mom, dad, and older sister have always supported me in everything I do, and I’m very lucky to have them.

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was four, I started music school and chose the piano. It became something more than just a hobby — a way to express myself and stay grounded. In 2023, I graduated from music school, but I didn’t stop making music. Now I play the drums, and I love how completely different they feel. They let me be louder, freer, and more dynamic.

For a few years, I was also part of a theatre group. Acting helped me step out of my comfort zone and understand people better. Sadly, when the war started, I had to stop. It was disappointing, but I still carry the lessons and memories with me.

I enjoy school, especially subjects like literature and history — they help me see the bigger picture and think deeper. I’ve always been curious, and I like learning things that connect to real life. Every year, I work hard to keep good grades, and so far I’ve managed to finish each school year with excellent results.

One of my favorite things to do is travel. I love discovering how people live in other countries, what they eat, how they speak, and what their traditions are. It’s exciting to step outside what you know and experience something totally new.

I’m still figuring out who I am and what I want to do in the future. But for now, I’m just doing what I love, learning as much as I can, and trying to stay open to everything life brings.
