Viktor Lehostaiev 13, male from Buzova

Hi! My name is Viktor, I am thirteen years old, I live In Ukraine, Kyiv region with my parents and I am graduating from the seventh grade. My hobbies are playing soccer, I’ve even gotten many different medals and victories. I took part in different matches, in different cities. I like playing table games like “Mafia” and “Monopoly”. I like to meet my friends, play outdoor games, ride my bike with them and get to know new people. I also like playing video games. I enjoy riding a bike with my family. And I have a new hobby now. I am playing the guitar.

My family is mom Inna, dad Ihor and me. My mom works as a manager, my dad is a retired military man. We have a family tradition to buy a Christmas tree decoration every year. Whenever we buy one, we are reminding ourselves about good times and moments we have had in our past. My dream is to always travel a lot, but my main dream is about a trip to America, especially Los Angeles because it’s the city from my dreams, it is shown in many video games that I have played. It is city of stars and movies, so I really hope to see Los Angeles with my own eyes in real life. I have also dreamed of getting introduced to American lifestyle and traditions. I want to try my chance to study in a good college in the US because it is a country of possibilities. I want to study good enough so I can make something useful for the humanity in my future. I want to make everyone’s life better. Before the war has came to my country, I was living a beautiful life, I’ve had a lot of friends, I have been visiting normal school every day, my parents had good income. When then the war has started we have came to L’viv and lived there some time to wait until we can come back to Kyiv region. We were living there with the help of good Ukrainians who will always stand up for you.

We have started living absolutely new life. I was forced to get to online school “Optima” and I have continued studying to this day. Then things have finally started to stabilize. So that’s it and I really hope to meet you in USA soon.
