Velichko Family Needs A Home

Oleksandr Velichko, (67 years old) Alla, his wife (64 years old)

Oleksandr, age 67, and Alla, age 64, returned from work on the train to find that their village was being shelled on February 24, 2022. They were under fire for three months. There was no electricity or gas so they cooked food over a fire outside. They ate canned food they received as humanitarian aid while hiding in their cellar. Their daughter arranged with volunteers to take her parents to Kharkiv where they are currently living. Neighbors told them that their house was destroyed after they left. Oleksandr and Alla are currently living on their pension. Oleksandr is disabled and wants to return to live on his own land in his village.
