No Place Like Home
This is Sergey and Anna Andreichuk. They didn’t want to leave their home in Moshchun because they had rabbits, chickens, a dog, and a cat. But there was very strong shelling, so on March 2 they went to their daughter in Kyiv.
On March 5, Sergei returned to their home in the village to feed the animals. But when he arrived, he saw that their dog was dead and the chickens were burned alive. He also found corpses of eight of their rabbits, but could not find any sign of the other nine rabbits. He also couldn’t find their cat.
As soon as Moshchun was reopened, the couple returned to their home site and converted the shed where the rabbits had lived into a temporary place for themselves. But it’s just a cold, tiny, plank shed lined with polyethylene. They need a warm one-bedroom modular home until they can rebuild their own home.
The home for Sergey and Anna Andreichuk is COMPLETE.
