Hlib Kryvolapov 16, male from Kharkiv

Hello there, my name is Hlib, I am a fifteen-year-old student in Year 10. That is not surprising that English is my favorite subject. I ever took second place in the city Olympics!

I have lots of hobbies such as graphical design, reading comics and books (fiction most of time), playing board/video games, hanging out with friends, fishing, cooking and Activities that I had to put on pause since the start of the war, for example clay modelling and collecting geek stuff like figures, lego etc.

I also have a passion for music especially alt/indie rock and metal, and also I really wanna learn to play the electric guitar, but I think that first it would be better to master the acoustic one.

I can say that my family is quite big, because there are 4 children there. My mother is a volunteer in children’s oncology and she works very hard all day, and me and father trying our best to help her. When there is some type of event for kids in the hospital I usualy take part as of the animators, for example as Santa Claus.

As I said earlier I have three siblings, older sister and brother and younger sister. Fun fact: We all have a 7 year difference between us! My oldest sister Kristina is English teacher and she is the main reason for my lenguage skils to get better and better every day.

My older siblings are far away from our home cause of war, but not even war can separate our relations. I’m a cat person, but it so happens that now we only have dogs. There are 3 of them, two girls one boy Busya is the smartest; Volt is the most energetic; Feta is the smalest;

In conclusion, I would like to say that my family has been a constant source of strength and inspiration for me. Despite all the challenges we keep facing these days, we stay close and support one another. Whether learning from my sister Kristina, helping my mom with her volunteer work, or spending time with our dogs, my family shapes who I am.
