Snizhana Tiutiunyk 15, female from Kharkiv
Profile
Hello! My name is Snizhana, I’m 15. I’m in the 9th grade. I’ve done a lot of things throughout my life. In my childhood, I often took part in different competitions and won prize places because I took dance, swimming, and vocal classes. At 5 years old, I started to learn English, and not long ago I won first place in the English Olympiad. Two years ago, I started to take part in acting performances. It’s one of my favourite hobbies. I also like drawing, playing games, listening to music, chatting with my friends, and going for walks, but because of the war, my parents are sometimes afraid to let me go out because there are often explosions, so I spend most of my time at home. I am a calm person. I don’t really like loud places, but sometimes I can visit them. I am an empathetic person; I often understand people’s feelings and experiences. There are four people in my family: mom, dad, my younger sister, and me. And we have a cat—we really love him. Of course, I have friends. There are only three of them, but they’re important to me. They’re my best friends. I live in the Kharkiv region; I’ve grown up in this city. Unfortunately, the war has not affected our family in a good way. We often hear explosions—sometimes quiet and sometimes loud. We are used to them, but we’re still afraid of them. But we hope that it’ll end soon. I’m dreaming of visiting the USA, so I hope that I’ll have the chance to visit it.
