Thunder Ridge Raising Funds For Hot Meals
Thunder Ridge High School National Honor Society wants to help people have food to eat! We are once again raising money to support a food center that feeds 1000 people daily.
Feeding The Hungry Together
Our goal: to raise at least $25,000
Impact: $10 will feed a person 2 hot meals a day for an entire month. So our goal amount will feed 1000 people for 2 ½ months!
Want to donate? (100% of your donation is tax-deductible!)
You can donate right now! There are links on this page for credit card and venmo. (Note on venmo donations – please include the memo “NHS”). Checks made out “To Ukraine With Love” can also be mailed or delivered to Natalie Woods. Checks for large amounts (thank you!) are preferred because they do not have a service charge like a credit card.

Raising Money For Ukraine
2022-23 we raised $20,000 and provided a home for the Pruzhansky family.
2023-24 we raised over $20,000 to feed Dergachi village. This was enough to feed 1000 people 2 hot meals a day for 2 months.
Additional funds were raised to purchase a stove for a hospital and provide electronic boards for a school near the Russian border that meets underground for safety. Their school was destroyed by invading tanks.
Natalie Woods, the National Honor Society Advisor for the Thunder Ridge High School Chapter, went to Ukraine in April 2024, to see the impact of these efforts. See the video of her visit to the food lines, schools and the lovely family we provided a home for.
