Vanya Tereschenko 13, male from Buzova

Hello! Let me introduce myself, my name is Ivan Tereshchenko, but my friends call me Vanya, I was named after my grandfather. I am a 13 years old Ukrainian. I was born in Crimea. When I was 5, I moved to Nova Kakhovka with my family. My home town is not very big, forty-five thousand peoples live there. It is located next to the Kakhovska hydroelectric station. It is occupied, so I now live in Dream Town in Lubimivka.

I have a family: My father Mykola, 51 years old, is working as a Food production technologist. My mother Hanna, 42 years old, is a housewife, takes care of us, cooks delicious food, and keeps the house in order. My sisters Polina and Milana are cheerful and kind girls. All my family members are friendly and helpful.

Currently, I study at school in the seventh grade. My favorite subjects are PE, History of Ukraine, geography, literature, and English. And I think I’m pretty good at English. Also I am interested in History of world wars. I am kind, attentive, sympathetic. Sometimes I’m a bit lazy and haven’t decided on my future profession yet, but I’m always ready for adventures. I am a communicative person and I have a lot of friends. I like chess, it’s my hobby and a big interest. I play them well and even won competitions, but I want to learn to play even better.

In my free time I like riding a bike, playing computer games, and chatting with friends. My plans are to be wealthy, with a good job. I want to build a shelter for homeless peoples and help those in need in any way I can to help people who suffered from the Russian-Ukrainian war financially because in their place I see myself, I also suffered from the war, I had to leave my friends, school, my home.
