The Rogova Family
Raisa is 69-year-old and Anatolii is 77-year-old, both are retired and will be residing together.
When the war started at home, they learned about it from the explosions. Shells were flying over the house. On the 27th of February, a shell hit the house. The family barely had time to get into the basement, along with their granddaughter, daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law’s mother. Anatolii sustained 4 wounds to his leg, while Raisa suffered a concussion and now has hearing problems. Everything was on fire, both the house and the barn with the livestock. They fled from the farmstead, dragging Anatolii, who was bleeding and losing consciousness.
They stayed in the neighbors’ basement for 40 days while the village was occupied, and now they live with relatives. They lived in their house for 47 years, and they are devastated.
