The Pruzhanskys Will Receive a Home Thanks to Thunder Ridge National Honor Society​

The Pruzhansky family–Alexey, Julia, and their 16-year old daughter Katya lived in Irpin in the home they built themselves.

 

On March 3, they left Irpin because Russian tanks had surrounded the village and began firing on civilian homes. 

 

 

Alexey returned to Irpin on April 7th. After seeing the destruction, Alexey took the grim job to collect the bodies of the civilians who had been killed and identifying them.  They removed the remains of their neighbors from their destroyed houses carefully with respect. 

 

 

The  Pruzhansky dream of building a new house for them and their dog Black.  They have been able to remove the rubble from their land but it will take years for them to rebuild without our help.    

 

Thanks to the Thunder Ridge Honor Society, their dream will come true.

The Yaroshenkos Need A Home

The Thunder Ridge Honor Society is raising money for a second family.

The Yaroshenko Family: Artyom, Olga and their children Maria, 11 years old and Timofey, 7 years old were lucky to make it out before their home was bombed. 

 

Their dog remains near the destroyed house to guard the remains of his home.

 

Now they live in a rented apartment and they dream of rebuilding their ruined house but it will take generations unless we help because each wall can only be built after the family saves enough money to build it.  Winter is coming so they will have to wait until next year to build.  But we can help!
